2010's generation or 2010ism (in Romanian: generația 2010/douămiizece; douămiizecism) is a placeholder term for the current emerging generation. It is too early to tell, but there is a high chance the term "postdouămiism" will be more used in the future, considering that many young poets either use poetic discourses that were developed in the 2000's generation or bring (more or less) "new" techniques that blend in with "older" ones. Conceptual poetry may emerge as the only new trend of this period, which is characterized by a certain "eclecticism". In any case, there isn't an obvious rupture point with the previous promotion, to the point that some have even considered that the 2000's generation could/should remain the last "generation" of Romanian writers tagged after debut years.
The term "douămiizecism" was coined initially by Liviu Ioan Stoiciu on the back cover of the debut volume (nuferii mor în cadă, 2008) by Cătălina Cadinoiu. Stoiciu considered that the debuts of (circa) 2008, most notably that of Cadinoiu, bring a notable change to the poetic sensibility in contrast with the one which flourished around 2002-2003 (see 2000's generation). However, he did not took into account some contextual details: the vogue of on-line workshops such as poezie.ro (on the other hand, the members of Club Literar, for instance, used (and still use) the pejorative term "poezie.ro style" for metaphorical discourses that seemed mild, toned-down and baroque compared to minimalism that used no metaphors and very few if any other stylistic devices) and the (somewhat) lesser amount of coverage received by younger radical poets such as Hose Pablo (whose debut volume was rejected by Cartea Românească).

In 2011, on the back cover of the debut volume (copci) by Matei Hutopila, Claudiu Komartin cites Matei Hutopila, Andrei Dósa, George Serediuc, Aleksandar Stoicovici, Vlad Drăgoi and Anatol Grosu as a "new generation" of young poets "which have already started to change the poetic paradigm imposed with sound and fury in the past decade by 2000ists". In a review on copci, Horia Gârbea (without explicitly mentioning Komartin's note) argues that there may be an actual paradigm change and mentions, in addition to Hutopila and Dósa, Radu Ianovi, Crista Bilciu, Laurențiu Belizan, Diana Iepure, Eliza Macadan, Ciprian Măceșaru, Medeea Iancu and Iulia Militaru.
However, so far there was no wide debate among critics on this topic and there is no known example of a poet or group of poets who consider themselves part of this "new generation".
In spite of a set of new micro-tendencies in current prose, there is no current discussion on a possible "new generation of prose writers".
